About

I have a PhD from the National Institute of Technology Patna. My PhD thesis was on 'Gender and Spaces in Partition Fiction: A Study of Select Novels by Muslim Women'. My research interests include Memory Studies, Spatial Studies, Popular Culture, and Partition Writings.
Owing to my interest in Partition narratives, I have also worked as a Summer Intern for the Partition Museum, Amritsar (2018), where I collected oral narratives from Partition survivors in Bihar and researched how the partition changed the contours of the city of Patna.
